Blog 7

Today was a really cool class, I learned a lot from my fellow classmates and I hope that I was able to contribute as much.  We went over the Leader Research Papers and I thought that everyone had done a really awesome job.  Now, as far as the verge project goes, my team has come upon some hiccups with communication and I think that we are addressing the issues and are moving forward.  This is why I think that I have a great group.  Yes we might come into some difficult grounds to tread through but we are adjusting and looking for what works best.  Of course only time will tell, but I have faith in my team to tackle these obstacles and continue marching forward.

Blog 4

Today was an interesting class, I think that I am getting really revved up for our Group Verge project.  Already, the ideas are flowing and I think that my team is getting into a good working relationship.  I can start to see where we might have some snags along the way, but it just might be me.  We will have to wait to find out.  But, as for now I think that we are running on all cylinders and are eager to get onto the next phase of our project.

Very excited (Blog 3)

I do not think that this class will ever cease to amaze.  I think that in every class I am learning something new from either the instructor or my fellow students.  Especially now that we are starting out our verge project I am very excited to see where it takes us.  I am very excited to be working with Marty, Sandy, Bob, and Alex on our verge project and I think that everyone has something to bring to this project that will greatly benefit the group.

Leader Research week

Wow, what can I say some very impressive information on some of histories great leaders.  Sure there was some information I might have already known, but there was even more that I found out today.  Overall, I thought it was really cool to see how different people we researched still had similar features to them and although I thought mine would really be different using a general, but not really.  Each group I thought brought some similarities and some differences around the room that really made me think about each of their leaders and their similarities.  Onto the Verge, well we are still at it and boy it is starting to get mor difficult as time passes, hopefully my group will overcome an obstacles in the future, stay focused and really bring this thing together.

Blog Redo

Another look back earlier this semester.  And, I must say that there are some pretty cool things to do to your blog like and links and videos and some neat design features.  I kind of wished that there was really more to do to really customize this blog to really make it my own, but the things it does have is still pretty cool.  Now onto the verge.  Well not much progress really still hashing out what idea to go with and it seems to be a pretty tough crowd now.  I think that once the ideas stopped flowing some of the energy in the group might have gone with it.  But, we do have those amongst or group members that keep us grounded and moving forward.  And, to them thank you.  I am not one of them, but thank you to the ones who know who they are.  The group will surely benefit from having some members that keep pushing us forward to our ultimate goal.

This is a Blog redo

Hey taking a look back at early on in my group verge project.  Wow, I mean I could not have asked for a better team.  So many great ideas were floating around, I think the only hard part was chosing which one to go with.  So much creativity and even from those that thought not possible.  I was very impressed by the no holds barred outlook at go at it feeling from the group and I think that it inspired everyone to really go all out.  So I am confident that my group ultimately chose what was the best out of the bunch for everyone to understand and be excited about making possible

Coming to the End

Well our project is nearing the end of the road.  I can say that this has been a difficult journey but one of learning.  One of the most difficult tasks was just to stay on task and keep moving forward.  Or remembering to focus on the process of this project rather than trying to sell this item.  I admit that I too have had to constantly remind myself of this fact, it is easy to get really wrapped up into what you are doing.  It is more difficult to keep moving forward with what you have.  All in all I think my group has done a pretty good job together, not without it's flaws of course, but we have pushed ourselves forward to the end result.  This whole process has defenitely impacted the way that I look at collaborate work and good and not so good ways of working together on projects.

This week news update

Hoorah we got you Osama Bin Laden!  And, although it has been difficult for Alex and I to find information on costs for our Innovation project we at least found some costs to rather go off of.  I think that it is equally difficult to post on the wiki our updates just because of the amount and speed that we were going through different companies for information on costs and other information.  I guess that is part of the issue is to keep track of the work we have been putting into our project.  Although, it is easy to post info that we find it is difficult to post information that we do not.

Our no meeting week/ online only crosstalk

Well it has been a bit difficult not meeting in person but perhaps an eye opener of ways to go about meetings without actually meeting.  I hope that this week was more of a learning experience for the group rather than a set back.

We have changed directions moving more to the process and less on the project.  Which I believe is really helping our group become more efficient.

I was really happy with how are project turned out.  I think we all to a spectacular job.  Which makes me even more excited now to be working on our verge project and really do a great job for this project.
